Traditional exterior building maintenance relying on scaffolding, swing stages, and rope-access abseilers is inherently slow, cost-prohibitive, and fraught with severe occupational health hazards.

Developed by our dedicated robotics division WasherDrone at Istanbul Technical University Teknokent, our tethered drone system deploys specialized industrial multirotor platforms connected directly to a ground-based high-pressure pure water station.

Operating with pinpoint positioning, dynamic wind compensation, and spot-free Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration, WasherDrone cleans complex architectural curtain walls, composite panels, and solar canopies up to 5 times faster than manual teams—with complete zero-fall risk.

Our autonomous and semi-autonomous flight control algorithms keep human operators safe on the ground while delivering precision wash cycles to exterior surfaces up to 100+ meters high.
